For those of you who already know Buzios and know how to get to the CITY ENTRY PORT:

FROM PENINSULA BEGGINING:
That part where there are flags of various countries on both sides of the street, this is the “AVENIDA JOSÉ BENTO RIBEIRO DANTAS” from this point counting 3km and you will be in a roundabout, in this roundabout you should fully turn right and you will see a straight with a climb, this is the “VIEIRA CÂMARA” street. Being on scallop chamber street, you will pass the first climb that has a street on your left called “BOUGANVILLE” street, but this is just a reference, you go down the 1st hill and then start up the 2nd hill, at the top of the second hill our Geribá hills street will be on your left going up, watch out for there is another street on your left, but kind of coming back, don't enter that one. If you are at the top of the 2nd hill, you should turn left and keep going up, this is “ COLINA Street", we are right after the Casa Colina hotel, at this street at number 16.

RIO-NITERÓI BRIDGE TREK (Km Zero)
The trip to the city of Buzios from Rio de Janeiro begins at the Rio-Niterói bridge. After the toll collection station, take the left lane and follow the sign at the top that says: São Gonçalo / Cabo Frio / Nova Friburgo / Campos / Vitória. Continue left toward Rio-Manilha (BR-101).

ITABORAÍ (Km 30)

Four kilometers from the Clover de Manilha, there is a sign indicating Itaboraí (on the left) and take direction Rio Bonito / Lakes Region (on the right).

DUKEY ROAD (Km 40)

Two-lane stretch with central wall. On this 11 km road, two gas stations and nothing else until the Duques Viaduct.
There is an electronic signage that limits the speed to 50 km / h and the viaduct is a steep slope to the right.

TANGUA (Km 49)

After the viaduct go straight ahead, pass a viaduct over the access to the city of Tanguá, slow down a few minutes ahead because of the Federal Highway Police Post.

BEAUTIFUL RIVER / Via Lagos (Km 63)

About five minutes after passing Tanguá, you arrive at the junction of access to the city of Rio Bonito, where a few meters before you will see a sign indicating Lakes Region / keep right. This is the junction of the BR-101 highways, which goes straight to Campos / Vitória and RJ-124 (Rio Bonito-Araruama) on the right, today Via Lagos. Via Lagos is privatized, has a toll and a route of 57 kilometers. It has free SOS handset and tow service and the top speed is 100 km / h.

BOA ESPERANÇA (Km 76)

Small town, there are bicycles and pedestrians crossing the track and also a Military Police Road (PM).

PEDAGGIO VIA LAGOS (Km 85)

VIA LAGOS Toll Station is 9 km ahead of Boa Esperança. A few meters after the toll is the Graal mall. Good option for a stopover.

END OF  VIA LAGOS(Km 120)

The end of VIA LAGOS is at the junction of the variant with the old road that connects Iguaba Grande - S.P.Aldeia - Cabo Frio. The section has only two lanes (hand and counter), there are a number of speed reducers (taxons on the ground), an electronic surveillance sparrow with a speed of 40 km / h.

CLOVER S.P. ALDEIA / CABO FRIO (Km 125)

Another five-minute drive comes to a new junction: straight ahead, São Pedro da Aldeia, Cabo Frio, Arraial do Cabo; on the left, Buzios, Rio das Ostras, Macaé. Following the signs you take another road to the right (RJ-106), now towards BÚZIOS / SÃO JOÃO BAR / RIO DAS OSTRAS / MACAÉ. This road is also two-lane (hand and counter), crosses a region (São Mateus, Botafogo, Tamoio).

 BUZIOS ACCESS (Km 135)

With another 10 minutes of travel and 15 kilometers traveled, you reach the access to the city of Buzios, on the right, right after a gas station called “Until finally”. Slow down and turn right following the signs indicating PRAIA RASA / BÚZIOS. From this point it will be almost 25km until you reach the portico of Buzios, you will pass through various neighborhoods.

BUZIOS ENTRY (Km 150)
Go slower because in the outskirts of the city there are treacherous spring breakers and pedestrians crossing the slopes, and a sparrow (electronic surveillance) limited to 40 km / h.
